The principals of Clark Whitehill are industry and community leaders. They have been active for many years in the leadership of local, state, and national associations of homebuilders, as well as the Virginia Beach Community Services Board, Colonial Coast Girl Scout Council, Boy Scouts of America, United Way, and the Virginia Beach Foundation, among others. Their sense of community pride and involvement has a long history. In 1966, Clark Whitehill built the first Tidewater Builders Association Scholarship House, now an annual tradition as an industry sponsored charity, and the third largest scholarship fund in the state. In 1990, the principals of Clark Whitehill built another scholarship house. Clark Whitehill has over 200 years of combined home building expertise working for you. Clark Whitehill has been an industry leader within the multi-family community as well. The partners were instrumental in the founding of the Tidewater Mulltifamily Housing Council. In 2004, the founding partners of Clark Whitehill helped establish and fund the first Tidewater Multifamily Housing Scholarship Apartment. Clark Whitehill locally manages more than 1,400 rental homes in the Tidewater area spanning these eight communities: Aspen Racquet Club Apartments, Brookside Village Apartments, Greenbrier Woods on the Lake, Royal Pointe Apartments, Shoreline Apartments, South Lake Apartments, Willow Lake Apartments, and Windsor Lake Apartments. Their achievements are not only locally known, but also nationally as well.
